Morgan

I was fooling around with my camera, when Morgan wanted me to take some pictures of her. So we just had fun and took some pictures, she is so photogenic. She loves to have her picture taken, and I love to take her picture. This is the time I really enjoy being with her. She is so fun to be with when she is happy. These are the moments I cherish, and I am so grateful I can take picture to remember them by. Tyler on the other hand doesn't care to have is picture taken. But I'm going to sneak some pictures of him and blog him.

New Kitty in Town

Morgan got a kitty from her aunt Desi at the end of May. He was so fuzzy and cute, then he grew and grew and grew to a lion. He has huge paws, a long tail and a giant head and he's still growing. But we love him and wouldn't have him any other way. Well Tyler said he wanted a kitty, and we thought maybe Tony (Antonio) needs a playmate so we got us another kitty. She is tiny and every thing on her is petite, we got her at the animal shelter and they named her midnight. We love the name so we decided to keep it. While all this was happening Tony got his man hood removed and his claws. He wouldn't leave his paws alone so he has to were this cover until his paws are healed. I think he looks cute with it. This is Tony in his rounded blue necklace. Every time the flap is up he can't see so he stares at the ground and walks, trust me it's funny. But every morning he somehow removes it from his head, and we couldn't figure out how he got it off. Scott spotted Midnight playing with the string and then she unties it, then Tony wiggled it off (they have done this a bunch of times).
This is our new kitty Midnight, she is so sweet and loving. The kids love her and she fits perfectly in our home. She looks allot like Dusty but with yellow eyes.
Midnight is checking everything out, and Tony is in love. All he did for the first day was follow her everywhere she went. She being a female, ignored him. Every time she sat down to take a nap he was right there with her, but as soon as he sat she got up and went to the other couch.

I have a funny story to tell you about Tony and Midnight. As you well know cats have a good sniffer to smell things out. Well I'm thinking Tony's sniffer isn't functioning very well, let me explain. Tony (T) and Midnight (M) were chasing each other around the house and M went behind the couch, well T can't fit with the blue necklace so he sits on the arm of the couch leaning over it waiting for her to come out. On the opposite side M comes out and plops on the same couch T is on. I am sitting in the chair watching this, and T looks at me wondering were she is. If only T looked down while he was looking at me he would have seen her, she just sat there looking at him and he didn't even notice. He kept looking behind the couch then at me, he did this a few times. When he was looking at me he looked down and spotted her, the look on his face (and trust me he had a look) of complete surprise was priceless. They stared at each other for at least 30 seconds then he pounced. If only his sniffer was working!

First Day of School

Can you believe it? It is finely here, one of the most exciting days for any mom who has a kid going to school. No more "I'm board" or complaining about being hungry all the time, staying inside because it's just to hot. My favorite is having peace and quiet for 6 hours. And it just goes on and on. But it will also be sad time, hold off on vacations and traveling to see family in far off places, playing at the lake, no homework for 3 months, and all that relaxing we got to do. For me it was sleeping in....... Oh how I will miss that sleeping in.

Kids ready for school
Tyler will be heading off to Middle School, the big 6th grader. This is a challenge that he will definitely like. Having so many teachers will keep him less then bored and keep him very busy. The one thing he likes is that he has friends in all his classes. Morgan is very excited this year she is now a 3rd grader in Mrs. Nelson's class, she was Morgans Karate teacher. This is going to be good for her because Mrs. Nelson won't take any of Morgans bull honky....So I pray that i won't get any Principal, teacher, vice principal, librarian, or councilor calling me this year. Cross your Fingers!!!
Good luck Tyler and Morgan we love you very much and hope you have a wonderful year in school. Be good and listen to your teachers.

24th of July

The 24th of July is a very big thing with our family, it brings us from all over the state's to be together. We have all kind of relatives here. We just like to hang out, eat and play games. We also have many traditions, right after lunch us mom's go to the craft tent's. then the guys head off and go golfing. We just love being together.

Aleca and her cute little niece playing around on the floor.
My sister Jody and my aunt Sandra holding the newest member of our family, Arlee Elizabeth Wilson. My sister Desi and her cute little one Kylee.

Family members sorry if I spell your name wrong. Connie, Jessie, Barbra, Becky, Sandra, Arlee and Jody.

That's my mom hiding behind her grandson Kolby, because she hates to get her picture taken.
Morgan and all her cousins had a water balloon fight, this is Morgan and Riley trying to get dry after they got soaked.
Brook definitely got the most of those water balloons.
Kayla, Morgan, Riley and Caleb enjoying the cool water on this hot day!
Morgan loves to bite a hole in the water balloon, then squirt people with it.

The kids just having a good time, and giving there mom's a break.
Tyler and Kade love to play video games, so that what they did almost the whole time.
Scott and Alan, "Male Bonding"!
Jeff thinks he's sexy!!
The guys like to hide from the kids so they head down stairs to play some pool.
The last thing we do is eat the yummy homemade ice cream. We love doing this every year.

Camping with the family

What an amazing time we had up in the beautiful mountains. This is one of the things I miss most about Utah, the big green valleys, green trees, lakes, green mountains, oh did I mention how green it is? Anyways lets just say it was beautiful. We may have had our ups and downs camping with such a big group but the most part it was fun. Ok so lets put those pictures in to good use and let me tell you what they are. The first 3 are the nature pictures (all photo's taken by Alan). 4 is one of the best (the potty). 5-7 are the kids having fun playing ball (they had a blast). 8-10 now this is kinda funny, Jody may not think so but it was lte me tell you. We are camped right next to a cute little stream, its wonderful at night it puts you right to sleep with its little tinkles noises. But during the day its Jody's worst nightmare, Kolby that cute little blondle blue eye boy loves to get in that water every second he could. The second she turned around he was headed right for that stream, and let me tell you he can run fast for such a short legged kid. He was getting changed 2 to 4 times a day (now that's funny). 11-14 this is all about four wheeling and it was a blast, its funny to see when people get back they were covered from head to toe in dust (the boys just chilled there such wusses when it comes to four wheeling. HEE HEE). 15 is of Desi and Kylee every time she got on it she didn't want to get off (she's so related). 16-19 just us hanging out after dinner (I think Morgan was the dirtiest out of them all). 20 is quite the thing, Jon has a projector so we can watch scary movies in the woods. But for some odd reason it gets pretty nippley in the woods. (don't they look warm). 21 and 22 are the Wilson family there part of our family, Becky is my aunt and Aleca is her daughter thinking she can pull her mom out (you go girl). Oh, Becky's man Mike is picture 20 on the left, and last we have Alan, Aleca's man who took all these wonderful picture for us (thanks Alan). Well the last three are of the beautiful, green, huge mountain in my moms back yard. OK that's all our camping enjoyment hope you liked it, we had fun doing it (yes we did). Love you all, The Actons

California here we come!

I got to go on a road trip with by gal pal Sherrie (you rock) this last week. We took her daughter (Alicia) and friend (Taylor) on a little senior trip. We went to the beach (beautiful), disneyland (funnist place on earth) and to the play Wicked (that was awesome, words can not describe how cool that was). But I have to say the best part was hanging out with Sherrie (big hugs) and not having our little ones (11 in all) running around us taking our attention (MOM!). We went to bed late (midnight once then between 9 and 10 after that) got to sleep in (can you emagine) and even had a nap a few times (Sherries where longer than mine:), can you believe it? It was very relaxing and fun (haaaa). Thank you Sherrie (yes you) for letting me come with you, it was so much fun. But I need to say a big thanks to Scott (babe) for letting me go and a very big, huge, gigantic thanks to my sis Jody (Ya Jody). She wached my kids while I went, she is the best sister anyone could ask for so Thank you, Thank you (a million times). I so love you all.

Family fun

Me, Tyler and Morgan got to drive up to Utah this June and spend some time with our family. Hanging out at dad and mom's house is a lot of fun. Everyone is usually there every weekend. Not for us we have to drive hours to get there, so we definitely take it when we can get it. We enjoy hanging out and being with each other.
That's me sis Jody.
She like to start trouble.....(j/k)
Riley says HI!
When it is nice out side we like to play games like, volleyball, golf Frisbee, soft ball or even a little football. It depends on the mood we are in.
Jeff and Desi's little Kylee loves to drink out of a big kid cups. The only boys in all the grand kids. They got to stick together, the girls are taking over.
Dad working on a weed spot in his yard. Lets Play Dad!!!
We have plenty of little ones running around and playing. When someone hits the ball over the fence we just throw Brook over the fence and she gets it for us. Then she monkeys up the fence to get back on our side. She loves it you see a huge grin on her face every time we call her over.

Morgans Baptism

Morgan Tay Acton was Baptized and Confirmed May 31, 2008.
We are so proud of Morgan for accepting the Holy Ghost in her life. All she could tell me on this day was "I am so Happy", and on the way home she said her heart was really warm. The Lord speaks to people in different ways and I think Morgan was filling his love for her. I am so great for the accomplishment my family has had this year and I just hope for many more. We are also glad that our family was able to travel down here to see Morgan be baptized. It was definitely a house full a people, that even Scott and I gave up our bed to family members and slept at a friends house. But we couldn't ask for a better weekend. Thanks to all that came and those who said prayers and did a talk. I guess that is what family's are for. Love you all..

Morgan getting ready for her Baptism. Her grandma Roylance bought this dress for her baptizm.

After a long day we decided to play a little Rock Band. My brothers Jon and Jeff are a little competitive!
Morgans aunt Desi is allergic to her kitty so she gave it to Morgan. Morgan is so excited that she wouldn't leave him alone.

Morgans cousins are hanging out for the weekend. We will see them in just over a week. We just can't get enough of each other can we?
