California here we come!

I got to go on a road trip with by gal pal Sherrie (you rock) this last week. We took her daughter (Alicia) and friend (Taylor) on a little senior trip. We went to the beach (beautiful), disneyland (funnist place on earth) and to the play Wicked (that was awesome, words can not describe how cool that was). But I have to say the best part was hanging out with Sherrie (big hugs) and not having our little ones (11 in all) running around us taking our attention (MOM!). We went to bed late (midnight once then between 9 and 10 after that) got to sleep in (can you emagine) and even had a nap a few times (Sherries where longer than mine:), can you believe it? It was very relaxing and fun (haaaa). Thank you Sherrie (yes you) for letting me come with you, it was so much fun. But I need to say a big thanks to Scott (babe) for letting me go and a very big, huge, gigantic thanks to my sis Jody (Ya Jody). She wached my kids while I went, she is the best sister anyone could ask for so Thank you, Thank you (a million times). I so love you all.

Family fun

Me, Tyler and Morgan got to drive up to Utah this June and spend some time with our family. Hanging out at dad and mom's house is a lot of fun. Everyone is usually there every weekend. Not for us we have to drive hours to get there, so we definitely take it when we can get it. We enjoy hanging out and being with each other.
That's me sis Jody.
She like to start trouble.....(j/k)
Riley says HI!
When it is nice out side we like to play games like, volleyball, golf Frisbee, soft ball or even a little football. It depends on the mood we are in.
Jeff and Desi's little Kylee loves to drink out of a big kid cups. The only boys in all the grand kids. They got to stick together, the girls are taking over.
Dad working on a weed spot in his yard. Lets Play Dad!!!
We have plenty of little ones running around and playing. When someone hits the ball over the fence we just throw Brook over the fence and she gets it for us. Then she monkeys up the fence to get back on our side. She loves it you see a huge grin on her face every time we call her over.

Morgans Baptism

Morgan Tay Acton was Baptized and Confirmed May 31, 2008.
We are so proud of Morgan for accepting the Holy Ghost in her life. All she could tell me on this day was "I am so Happy", and on the way home she said her heart was really warm. The Lord speaks to people in different ways and I think Morgan was filling his love for her. I am so great for the accomplishment my family has had this year and I just hope for many more. We are also glad that our family was able to travel down here to see Morgan be baptized. It was definitely a house full a people, that even Scott and I gave up our bed to family members and slept at a friends house. But we couldn't ask for a better weekend. Thanks to all that came and those who said prayers and did a talk. I guess that is what family's are for. Love you all..

Morgan getting ready for her Baptism. Her grandma Roylance bought this dress for her baptizm.

After a long day we decided to play a little Rock Band. My brothers Jon and Jeff are a little competitive!
Morgans aunt Desi is allergic to her kitty so she gave it to Morgan. Morgan is so excited that she wouldn't leave him alone.

Morgans cousins are hanging out for the weekend. We will see them in just over a week. We just can't get enough of each other can we?

May Day dance was so fun but so sad at the same time. This was Tylers last year to do the May day dance, next year he will be in Middle school (that makes me feel old). He is the oldest grandkid on both sides of our family so I get the privilege of learning all these feelings first. It may be sad for me but Tyler was grateful to be done with the dancing he calls it girl stuff. Tyler did the May pole and then his dad got to do it with him, I got to take the pictures (ya me). Morgan did the Lelo and Stich song she had her tongue out most of the time. It was great to see the kids participate in these fun school activities. These pictures will last forever in my computer.....

Bike Run

Scott and his two buddies, Pat and Dave decided to go for a three day bike run. He said it was a great trip and he enjoyed the fresh air. The headed down to Hoover Dam and then across to Arizona. They stopped at alot of the old towns and said the view was worth the trip. He can't wait to do it again and take me with him.

Disney Land!!

What A Blast we had at Disney Land. This by far was the best vacation we have had. We decided to take the whole big family with us it was definitely memories to remember. The list of many people that came. Grandpa and grandma Roylance, grandma Taylor, Jon, Kayla, Brook, Brett, Jody, Kade, Riley, Kolby, Scott, Jana, Tyler, Morgan and are gal pal Lori (thanks for everything). I do admit it did have some draw backs like Jon got the flu and was cooped up in the hotel room for 2 whole days. Jody got a very bad head cold and Brett was getting over the flu. But the rest of us didn't catch any of it (thank goodness). And also we did miss some family members who didn't come with us (you know who you are). Hopefully we can do this again with out the sickness. I am blessed with such a close and loving family. Thank you guys for coming with us and having fun with us, lets do it again but next time I'm thinking Disney World!!!!

March & April

This is a very eventful day for the Acton Family. We got to go to the Provo Temple and be sealed for all time and eternity. It was amazing being there with family and friends. But the best part of it was being with your love, and telling him you want to be with them for ever. Then seeing your kids and your heart overflows with joy and love. That feeling of completeness is overwhelming. I am so grateful to have a family that will be with me all time. We are thankful to have everyone around us who helped and supported us.

"I love to see the Temple"

I love to see the temple. I'll go inside someday.

To covenant with my Father; I'll promise to obey.

For the temple is a holy place, where we are sealed together.

As a child of God, I've learned this truth, a family is for ever.

Us together in front of the Provo Temple.

Friends and Family that came.
He loves me!!!!
They look so nice in there suits.Mom and Morgan.
I think its about time to tell everyone good bye.
Thanks to everyone who was so supportive of us and was there for us.
We love you!
